Techworks clients triumph in CEM Editor’s Choice Awards

Techworks Asia (TWA) clients recently carried off four of the Editor’s Choice Awards, from the top-tier publication China Electronic Market (CEM). Within China’s electronics sector, these are considered prestigious awards and are highly coveted by companies operating in China’s engineering community.

Comments PR Director, Claire Walker, “For four of our clients to win an award is a major achievement and the result of a client-agency-media chemistry that is based on our deep understanding of the market in China. As a successful comms agency in the region, we have built excellent relationships with key technology outlets and influencers in China – a winning formula that gets results and provides our clients with a solid foundation for their sales efforts.”

The winning products addressed various key application areas in China:

  • In the case of CEVA Inc., the award was for the groundbreaking CEVA-Dragonfly NB2, which was recognised as “The most competitive IoT solution in China”.

  • Molex won in “The Most Competitive Interconnection and Interface Products” category, for its Easy-On FFC-FPC Connectors. In fact, this continues a distinguished run of success by Molex, now a seven-times winner since the CEM awards kicked off, with consecutive wins over the last four years, including this 2018 award.

  • Nordic Semiconductor was declared the winner in the “The most competitive development tool in China” category, for its nRF Connect for Cloud development and deployment solution for cellular IoT (cIoT) and Bluetooth Low Energy.

According to CEM, “The competition for the 2018 Editor’s Choice Awards was extremely fierce. There were many products competing for the awards, in several different categories, such as automotive-electronic solutions, sensor products, power products, and development tools.” The panel of judges deliberated for over three months before selecting 15 products from 16 companies as award winners.

If these awards are so intensely competitive, why did our clients do so brilliantly? Well, we’d argue that, in no small way, it’s because Techworks’ experienced and knowledgable multilingual team works seamlessly with both international and domestic companies in China, and that our proactive and highly responsive working practices ensure both clients and the media receive prompt attention.

These latest wins are the most recent in a long line of awards that Techworks Asia has secured for its clients over the years. To date, we have helped to capture 138 awards from leading technology-oriented media in the Greater China region.

So, over 14 years, Techworks has secured an average of 10 awards per year for our clients! We think that statistic speaks for itself!
